Secondly, I thank you for pointing out something that I had perhaps not noticed myself. I seem to like to paint strong, confident, beautiful women. I've always admired Hatshepsut. To me she is the ULTIMATE...shunning status quo to be what was her birthright. I am drawn (no pun intended) to painting these types of portraits. Perhaps it is the Goddess working with me, through me, around me...guiding me in my choices? She has been my muse of late. I find an elegance in strength and confidence (perhaps because that has been a struggle for me in the past). I have NO doubt that the Royal Pharaoh will show up in some form in all of my works

How are classes going? And teaching?
I have some major projects and papers due over the next 3 to 4 weeks, so I probably will be gone for several weeks
But, I gotta do it....
Everything else is good...just gotta finish!!
